In production from 1958 to 1992, the Helios lenses create swirly bokeh when wide open. Like most antique lenses, when pointed towards a bright light source, it flares spectacularly. This M42 lens mounts easily (and cheaply) with an adaptor to Sony Alpha cameras, giving you the opportunity to procure a rather affordable (~$20 CAD) lens for your mirrorless camera that can create unique effects.
